Privacy notice
AccrediSource runs a directory of ISO/IEC 17025 accredited labs and introduces customers to labs. This notice explains what we collect, why, who sees it and the choices you have. Questions: ben@accredisource.com.

- From customers. Your name, company, work email, phone number and ZIP code if you give them, what you need tested or calibrated, standards, timing and notes, any files you upload, the labs you pick, your sharing choice and when you made it, and your answers to our follow-up questions.
- From labs. Your sign-in email (and your name, if you sign in with Google), the representative’s name, role and phone, the lab details and capabilities you confirm, your opportunity contact, your terms acceptance and preferences, purchase records and any reports you send.
- From public sources. Directory information about labs from accreditation bodies’ public records and labs’ own websites, including published business contact details.
- Payments. Stripe collects card details. We receive a record of the payment, such as the amount, date and Stripe’s reference numbers. We never receive or store your full card number.
- Email. The emails we send you, whether they were delivered, bounced or marked as spam, and the replies you send us. We don’t track whether you open our emails or click their links.
- Technical information. Our hosting provider processes your IP address and browser details to deliver the site. Our abuse limits count one-way codes made from IP and email addresses, not the raw values. We count page visits and steps such as starting a request, without names or contact details.
If you express interest in a lab partnership, we use the lab name, contact details, website and testing preferences you supply to review fit and follow up with you. Submitting interest does not activate a partner account or subscribe you to opportunity notifications. You can ask us to stop contacting you or delete your inquiry at ben@accredisource.com. Limited pseudonymous identifiers help protect this form from abuse.
- To run the directory and the request service: confirm your email, review requests, find suitable labs, send previews and introductions, take payments, and handle reports, refunds and disputes.
- To show a lab’s listing to customers, only with the lab’s permission: when it joins as a partner, or when it tells us it agrees. Until then, customers don’t see it.
- To send the emails the service needs, such as confirmations, updates, receipts and account messages.
- To invite accredited labs to join, by email to their public business address. Every invitation says how to opt out.
- To keep the service secure, prevent fraud and abuse, keep records the law requires, and improve the service from overall usage counts.
- We don’t use your information for advertising.
- We keep information while we need it to run the service, and for security, disputes, accounting and legal reasons.
- We keep a lasting record of which lab organizations received a customer’s contact details, so a request never goes to more than 3. We keep payment records for accounting.
- We clear the text of email replies after about 180 days. The record that a reply arrived stays.
- Request drafts in your browser expire after 24 hours.
- Information we delete can remain in backups for a limited time.
- Close your request at any time from your request page. Labs can then no longer buy it. Labs that already received your details keep them; you can ask them to delete them, and we’ll help.
- Stop emails. Every invitation and opportunity email has a link to stop them. Labs can also pause previews in their account. Emails about something you asked for or bought, such as receipts, still arrive.
- Access, correct or delete. Ask us to see, correct or delete your information, or to stop a use of it, at ben@accredisource.com. We check it’s you first and reply within 45 days. We may keep what we need for the reasons above, such as the record of labs that received your details and payment records.
- Other rights. Depending on where you live, you may have other rights, including to appeal our answer. We won’t treat you differently for using them.
- Labs. A lab can ask us to correct its listing, or to stop showing it to customers, at any time. Partner labs agree to use customers’ details only to respond to the request (see the partner terms and introduction terms).
- We protect information with access controls, encrypted connections and two-step sign-in for staff. No system is perfectly secure.
- Files you upload are kept private and can’t be opened by anyone until a malware check clears them.
- AccrediSource is a business service and isn’t meant for children under 16. We don’t knowingly collect their information.
- We operate from the United States. Our service providers may process information in the United States and other countries.
